Inaccurate stats need fixed
[edit]I'm not an extended confirmed user so I can't do it, but his 2022 statistics are wrong. One editor updated them, then another editor added more to them. FreshTec843 (talk) 04:13, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- @FreshTec843, I've fixed the issue. The one who made that edit is normally very good about stats tables updates, but we all make mistakes. They actually correct one of the stats in the process too. Hey man im josh (talk) 12:41, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
Thanks! FreshTec843 (talk) 18:21, 28 October 2022 (UTC)

When it says Evans is the only player to start his career with eight 1000 yard seasons, this information is outdated. Mike Evans now has 9 1000 yard seasons to start his career. This is listed in line 4 of the article. Please change it from Evans is the only player in NFL history to start his career with eight consecutive seasons with at least 1,000 receiving yards. To Evans is the only player in NFL history to start his career with nine consecutive seasons with at least 1,000 receiving yards.K3YTMLG (talk) 17:49, 8 January 2023 (UTC)

I support this. It is outdated and needs to be fixed. https://www.buccaneers.com/news/mike-evans-1000-yards-9-seasons-bucs-nfl-record-2022 FreshTec843 (talk) 05:27, 10 January 2023 (UTC)

He now has nine consecutive seasons with 1,000+ receiving yards - it is listed as eight currently. 82.26.129.166 (talk) 12:29, 18 January 2023 (UTC)

- I actually updated the lead because stat databases do reflect that he's had nine consecutive seasons. That number was changed elsewhere in the article already but was missed in the lead. Hey man im josh (talk) 15:34, 18 January 2023 (UTC)

Mike Evans has 683 career receptions and not 673 career receptions as of the 2022 NFL season. Department83 (talk) 19:53, 26 January 2023 (UTC)

- Done I checked the Pro-Football-Reference link in the infobox and you're right. I updated the stat. As Lightoil mentioned, it's best to provide a reliable source, as not everybody will search for a source to verify a suggested edit. The onus is on the person requesting the change to provide a source for the suggested change.Hey man im josh (talk) 13:06, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
