Citing for Micromollusks

[edit]

Hi, I am a relatively new editor on Wikipedia but I have been active on Wikisource for about 4 years so forgive me if I don't entirely get the Wikipedia culture. This page (Micromollusk) is marked as needing citations, however, it cites the foremost paper on the subject talking about how to handle and process micromollusks. I am doing research on micromollusks for a class and thought I could lend some citations. I have been combing through the literature for this class already and while there isn't a lot of papers on the subject, this paper "Techniques for collecting, handling, preparing, storing and examining small molluscan specimens" which can be found here [1]https://www.researchgate.net/publication/288605135_Techniques_for_collecting_handling_preparing_storing_and_examining_small_molluscan_specimens, collects all of the techniques tried and whether or not they worked by the top scientists in this field; Daniel L. Geiger, Bruce A. Marshall, Winston F. Ponder, Takenoru Sasaki & Anders Warén. So, I feel that much of this Wikepedia page can actually be referenced to this paper. I added a citation to a claim that was present in Geiger et al 2007 as well as other papers but I am unsure whether or not other people feel like more citations are needed.

TLDR: Should I add more citations to this paper to substantiate claims that are already covered by sources in the Further Reading section? Seperation (talk) 06:33, 9 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
