"This article reads like an advertisement" tag
[edit]I don't necessarily believe this article was written from an advertisement point of view. I think if you read any television producer's resume in a glowing fashion, you would get an article very similar to that of this one. Much of this information, I believe, comes from the biography on the Embassy Row website anyway. No reason to tag this article other than jealousy, I suppose? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.136.122.229 (talk • contribs) 2007-06-25T23:37:45
- I added the tag. I chose that tag because I couldn't find one that said "this article reads like an effusive puff biography taken from the subject's web site". Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, a place for well-written, well-sourced, neutral articles, not official biographies, and especially not copyvio cut-and-paste jobs. The above poster might want to brush up on WP:NPOV and WP:BLP, the latter of which reads: "Biographies of living people should be written responsibly, conservatively, and in a neutral, encyclopedic tone. While a strategy of eventualism may apply to other subject areas, badly written biographies of living persons should be stubbed or deleted." Whence, I'm stubbing the article. Hopefully, others interested in the subject will be able to provide neutral, balanced, sourced information on the subject, appropriately attributed and cited. Robert K S 08:56, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
