[edit]Hello, Jeanne boleyn. O.K., Let´s discuss about Baroness Micaela Almonester de Pontalba article:
1. "Baroness" is not a name, it´s a title. So I think the first article sentence must be: Micaela Almonester de Pontalba, baroness of Pontalba by marriage. Besides this name was not hers all her life. He was born as Micaela Almonester, surely (I have not see her birth certificate) as Micaela Almonester y de la Ronde, like the typical Spanish form to put surnames: Name/s, Paternal Surname y Maternal Surname. So the article introducction must contain this important information.
2. "...one of the most vibrant personalities of that city's history." is a great sentence for a novel, but in my opinion it´s not appropriate for a encyclopedia. It´s not objective.
3. The birth place of Andres Almonaster is Mairena del Alcor (in the past usually written as Mayrena), not "Mayrene".
Well, What do you think about this?

- I agree in part with your first suggestion. I have since changed the article's title to accomodate the change. It now reads as Micaela Almonester, Baroness de Pontalba. Your version was needlessly verbose and repetitious. It's not necessary to say by marriage. Check out the other articles on noblewomen for a guideline. But I do agree that adding Baroness before the name is misleading. If I can locate a source that gives her full birth name as Micaela Almonester y de la Ronde I will add it as you rightfully say it is the correct Spanish form and she was Spanish by birth. "one of the most vibrant personalities of that city's history" can be sourced as it is an accurate description of her reputation in the city's folklore. I shall source it. The third suggestion is a good one. Don Andres' place of birth shall be changed ASAP. Before making controversial changes it's best to discuss here that way the baby doesn't get thrown out with the bathwater. Thank you for your excellent suggestions.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 08:21, 9 March 2012 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, I cannot find a single source that gives her name as Almonester y de la Ronde. If we added it to her article it would be considered Original Research.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 12:36, 9 March 2012 (UTC)
Ok, I´m agree. Bye!--Geriarto (talk) 14:45, 9 March 2012 (UTC)
