@Pppery To me, explaining more than what the warnings themselves that i chose explained, wouldn’t be warranted when you’re dealing with an IP who is blanking an article after zero consensus. I’ve seen a lot of vandals repeatedly blank pages and 9/10 times they get blocked after other users warn/report them which is what i did. I have no personal investment in this article’s subject matter nor do i care what the outcome of the consensus would be. I was simply patrolling recent changes and saw an IP blanking an article. The warning you gave says Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Metal-Head, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. The IP surely things they [gave] a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. * Pppery *it has begun...22:20, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Picture this, you’re patrolling recent changes dealing with IPs engaging in identical behavior, come across another IP blanking a page prior to a consensus. You warn them & they continue to blank the page. Next time i’ll follow your advice and start a dialogue, but typically in that situation i would just Warn and then Report if they continue. I wasn’t coming from a place of bad faith. Elvisisalive95 (talk) 22:30, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You reverted my anti-vandalism work because you didn’t agree with it. Even though the user continuously blanked the page after multiple warnings & ultimately got blocked for edit warring. Elvisisalive95 (talk) 05:29, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
