there are several grammatical mistakes as well as typos in the back half of the plot summary. would like to edit them. Oldteen71 (talk) 02:55, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, you can suggest edits here on this talk page on the form "Please change X to Y" citing reliable sources. – Thjarkur (talk) 13:01, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
There are way too many grammatical mistakes here. Is it really efficient to do it this way vs allowing for edit so I can make the changes directly? Oldteen71 (talk) 16:06, 19 February 2020 (UTC)

202.165.244.97 (talk) 23:03, 28 February 2020 (UTC) Meray paas tum ho became so hyped and famous that those people who didn`t watch even a singal episode of this drama watched the last episode and after that watched whole drama from beginning till end.
- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Ravensfire (talk) 23:06, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
Excessive plot could contravene copyright law
[edit]In this edit I removed the excessive plot summary. Per WP:TVPLOT, an entire season's plot summary should not exceed 500 words. Further, excessive summaries of an existing work could run afoul of copyright law, being considered a "derivative work". Any interested parties are welcome to submit a summary of no more than 500 words that describes the general shape of the series, rather than every twist and turn the series has taken. Let us have some consensus on Plot
[edit]Actually there may not be many editors but few are trying to impose their version remaining anon. What they need to understand that boasting like advertorial and too many technical details are not necessarily helping the article which they seem to love so much. I want to appeal them in any case not to delete summary of the plot. Second thing is just see if they want to have extended summary rather than entire plot for their mental satisfaction. I invite all who have edited and taken effort on this article.

- Oh good grief, that plot is way, way, WAY too long and detailed. What's currently there is just ridiculous. Ravensfire (talk) 14:52, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Bookku: As I noted above in my initial talk page post above, it is a contravention of WP:TVPLOT, which already represents widespread community consensus, to have a wall of plot summaries. More importantly, it is a potential violation of copyright law. Excessive summaries of creative works could potentially be considered a "derivative work" under copyright law, which is a problem. The WikiProject Television community prefers that TV articles not have more than a 500 word per season summary that details the overarching plot structure of the season or series, not getting bogged down in episode-by-episode revelations and details. The fact that we need 8300 words to summarise the basics points of 23 episodes is simply astounding.
- An alternative would be for interested editors to create a proper list of episodes like the ones we see in articles maintained by children, and include brief 150-200 word summaries for each of those episodes. But again, the summaries need to be brief and quickly describe the beginning, middle and end. We don't need stupid details like "and they head home without having eaten dinner", or "and flirts with her, praising her beauty and her voice", or "After bringing the food, he asks her to light the candles as he changes into clean clothes." The entire write-up is pure self-indulgence and demonstrates not only a lack of awareness of Wikipedia policies and guidelines, but also totally disregards readers' valuable time. It would probably be quicker for someone to watch all 23 episodes than read that text wall. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:09, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
Ravensfire & Cyphoidbomb thanks for your prompt valuable responses. In principle I do very much agree with you. I hope other users will take note of the same. Jimmitelli does not seem to be around since long. Other couple of editors are already blocked on account of sock activities. Don't know if some of them editing anon. After this discussion we reinstate summary if other users engage in may be bit extended one, that will help enforcing the consensus better.
@ Mohid Irtiza waiting to listen from you at the earliest.
Thanks and greetings

Apologies for the late response. Basically my first time editing a page so didnt realise there were so many rules and regs to updating or adding. The descriptive details was purely because I assumed its what's needed and not 'self indulgence '. Hope this clears this up, thanks. Jimmitelli (talk) 21:47, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
- @ Jimmitelli Thanks for constructive co-operation
- @ Syed Mirchi One of the purpose of admins to protect page protection from anon is people create account and can be invited to discussion. Bringing you above discussion to your notice and requesting positive inputs and constructive co-operation.
- @ other users, I think we wait for feed back and co-operation from Syed Mirchi for a day or so. If insertion of Complete plot continues, I don't know if admins can think of a filter, just we can enquirer with them. Let us hope we will get co-operation from new confirmed user Syed Mirchi
- Thanks and regards

- @Cyphoidbomb: I am not sure looking at earlier discussion would you prefer to continue with last IP's changes of 178.80.82.227, Just wanted to keep you informed so you might want to revisit (or reverse IP178.80.82.227's changes be cause I did not feel he is extending summary rather I had feeling he is in inserting plot details only. Thanks Bookku (talk) 00:50, 30 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Bookku: Thanks. The edit is within normal WP:TVPLOT tolerances, and I don't see any obvious copyright violations, so I'm OK with it. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 04:26, 30 June 2020 (UTC)

Requesting review
[edit]I don't know all the rules also I am not good at fire fighting with later edits. I wish & request you to review some of changes anon IP 221.132.118.109 which I feel are more out of ego or may be really want to follow some rule book, I don't know.
1) S/He shuffled back intro para to previous technical details of lengthy producer director writer details rather than theme intro para added by me.
2) S/He also deleted referenced sentence "and contested good women bad women binary by the author and series narrative" from theme intro para. I did not get the logic.
3) If the main cast is in plot summary then why lengthy cast details are necessary before rest of discussion relating to reception which would be of interest to general readers more. Is there any rule to put cast earlier to reception? If such rule exists I have no arguments.
Thanks for all the effort you put in
