The language formerly in the page refers to the fact that the subject is not listed as the patent holder for the Grayway Rotating Drain and that is "inconsistent with the claim on her web page as having conceived of the device." This is an inaccurate supposition. The subject is listed as an assignee on the patent. The patent holder is Ron Ford, and the subject's web page attributes Mr. Ford with participation in the development of the device

Unlike with copyrights, simply conceiving of something does not automatically confer the privileges of an inventor. There is considerable additional work that must occur before a patent is granted. Usually this work is done by someone with experience in that endeavor.

Available independent evidence exists to support the claim that the subject significantly participated in the conception and development of the device. Agentv (talk) 16:56, 7 April 2011 (UTC)vincent lowe[reply]

The patent says she's not one of the inventors. The article says she's an inventor. That's the point. Being an assignee means she's one of the owners that obtained ownership of the patent via a contract of an assignment, not as being an inventor. Invention consists of conceiving an invention and reducing it to practice. TJRC (talk) 19:50, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
