Statement

[edit]

Randy Moss having bought a place in town is in doubt. After seeing this unsubstianted entry, I called my stepfather, who lives with my mother in Medfield. He is (in my experience) a proven inside-information guy. The result of his inquiries: according to one of the Larkins, of Medfield's Larkin real estate, Randy attempted to lease a house on Main St. (Rt. 109) owned or managed by a woman known to be difficult to deal with. She apparently was not willing to allow him to make changes he wanted to make to the living space. He supposedly found a place in Sharon, Massachusetts. Tempest VIII posted this on April 20th, 2006. "Medfield is a great town, but this article is filled with biased and unimportant information."

I definitely agree with that statement. Matterson52 00:26, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Most of the "uptown" section should probably be deleted or at least the talk of the concept of "walking uptown" is a bit irrevavant or if anything should go under a new page "Medfield High School" erbbysam 19 June 2006
Scott Brooks isn't the same Scott Brooks... unless he leads another life as a Basketball Coach in another state... --erbbysam 01:30, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why do people keep removing my entry about Bubble Gum Bob? He is a wonderful and well known figure in the town?

Because it isn't cited. See here, here.

But how do I cite it? There is no documentation other than the fact that the yearbook exists and I can't cite that? It certainly isn't vandalism, I love this town and I grew up getting gum from Bob. I thought it was nice that he was mentioned. I didn't do the original writing but I am adding it back in. I don't see how to cite a fact that doesn't have any written source.

Normally, I'm against putting in non-well-known residents, but I don't think it could actually hurt to put this guy in. Besides, the yearbook was dedicated to him. Although, an actual name would be nice. BlackBear 12:54, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Here's a cite from the local paper: [1] (last 3 paras). I know his name, as do many others, but I think in this case his privacy should be respected. David Brooks (talk) 21:11, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

oh my god...is it true that the politically correct yuppies finally changed the high school mascot from "Warrior" to "the big M"?! that's ridiculous. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.60.254.45 (talk) 21:07, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can somebody please cite a source on the name change(Warrior->Big M) because everybody in Medfield in the High School that I've talked to hasn't heard anything about this? erbbysam 18:45, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That name change is not true. And why doesn't anyone put something about Marty. Everyone knows him as the guy who is always in the high school, but no one knows why he is actually there.

He is building a house in Medfield not Sharon —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.218.199.124 (talk) 22:16, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Marty is exceedingly lulzy, but I feel this page is not good enough for him. Itsgoingsdowntomorrow (talk) 01:32, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Marty really should be in here. Kelran24 (talk) 01:39, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Any possibility of creating an image gallery so that most of the paintings could be viewed there? Dwain 04:42, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
