American-Australian Leadership Dialogue
[edit]Not sure if Maxine reads this, but there is no article in Wikipedia what the Dialogue is actually about, and Maxine the former journalist and current or former participant would be just the person to write it. Without clarity, this organisation looks like a secret backroom organisation. Who are the participants? How are they selected? Who pays for their trips, incl. accommodation? What is the agenda of the meetings in the US and what are the goals of this organisation? Does it have a constituition? Do they meet regularly or not? Do meetings take place in Australia? This is the third or fourth time that I see this organisation is mentioned, but it is not clear, what they have set out to do. With the US being in such a mess at the moment, do we have reasons to worry that future leaders adopt too many ideas from the US?
And maybe someone can delete some of the superceded stuff. 144.136.176.87 (talk) 07:29, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
