Hello! Hopefully a discussion (even though its about vandalism, but User:EdJohnston over at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring believes its not so fair enough) about if Meza left Independiente in 2018 but joined Monterrey in 2019, even though it was a direct transfer so that is, you'd assume, impossible. Did he become a free agent for a few hours for New Year's Eve, despite Monterrey paying a (rumoured) € 13.2M for the player? Possibly, it seems. Pinging User:Fcbjuvenil as the fellow user involved, but anyone else is of course welcome! R96Skinner (talk) 09:16, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The current citation (FIFA) had stated he was born on 15 December 1992. However, the profile from the Independiente official website had stated 15 de Enero de 1992 = 15 January 1992. Should the two dates stated in the wiki article, or may be anyone that fluent in Spanish, dig out any news article regarding this? A typo in birth certificate or just like the case of Ronaldo (Brazilian footballer), few months late to register the birth? Matthew hk (talk) 04:26, 30 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting one, Matthew hk. I'm fairly certain Independiente's website was incorrect. On Twitter, the club wished him a Happy Birthday on 15 December back in 2018. In terms of media, Infobae state 15 December 1992 - as do Goal. Current club Monterrey also say December 1992. R96Skinner (talk) 09:31, 30 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
