Bears are a powerful franchise and Eberflus’ record should reflect as such

Article Needs to be rewritten without bias

[edit]

the amount of bias in this article is insane. I have already removed some, but reading through the article, there is way too much for me to be able to change myself. I genuinely believe that the article was written by someone within the subject's personal circle. I have not seen this level of bias both in language and content on a BLP before. it is dissapointing to know that people who come to Wikipedia may leave with guided opinions made from a very biased editor. the second source in the article, used to support a biased description 'helping lead', is a biased opinion piece. some language from the cited article is as follows:

If you’re just tuning in, Matt Eberflus — a 1988 Whitmer grad and former Toledo linebacker — has become the Next Big Thing in the NFL...

Still, sometimes you can be so good as to transcend the times, and the 48-year-old Eberflus is that good.

The guess here is Eberflus gets his head coaching shot soon enough, and deservedly so.

such a clearly biased article should not be used to further a point, especially one at the top of an article.

and gee, I'd love to give so many more examples of the way more biased statements made in the article but I do not have enough time to do so. Trulyy (talk) 07:16, 29 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
