[edit]Martand was also called Pandav Lari or the house of Pandavs. Anyone with links or citations to more details about this fact, kindly leave your comments on my talk page. Also, it would be much appreciated if you could load a recent picture of Martand Sun Temple to wikicommons, as the one used in the article is over a 100 years old. -Ambar wiki (talk) 13:52, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
A recent panorama and image from 30 July, 2011 has been added to the page. Also an image showing the sign posted at the ruins by ASI has been uploaded. Some additional details may also be found from the same. Please read the sign and make necessary edits to the text.Gaurav —Preceding undated comment added 20:18, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
Song shot at the ruins
[edit]A part of the popular Hindi song 'Tere Bina Zindagi Se Koi Shikwa to nahi" from the movie Aandhi has been shot at the ruins. Some Hindi movie fans might be interested in this bit of trivia and it may enhance the information about this page. I am a newbie so I am not sure if such information is relevant here. Please guide.
Destruction of the temple
[edit]Why is the phase of destruction of the temple not mentioned as a seperate paragraph with detail and is instead mentioned in a single line in avery biased way. And why does someone keep removing when I try to add the destruction face of the temple as separate paragraph? Please bring this matter to attention 2409:4063:6C90:F98D:0:0:D40B:8A05 (talk) 14:33, 22 March 2022 (UTC)
- That's because you are not providing scholarly reliable sources in support of your content, thus failing basic Wikipedia policy of WP:Verifiability. Secondly, this is a history section, so it would need scholarly sources, per WP:HISTRS policy. That is source from a historian's book and/or journal. Note that Wikipedia is not a forum, you cannot 'post' something without being backed up by source(s) - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 14:49, 22 March 2022 (UTC)
- Scholarly work? Means like leftists who reference the garbage of one another as scholarly work? Anything which doesn't suit your agenda becomes non-scholarly? Who determines what is scholarly , is it some looney in Harvard or Oxford or some CCP member from china or some stooge of Soros. Your actions in peddling agenda will ensure that you will be kicked out of all free world except your anglo-saxon sphere 111.125.218.147 (talk) 16:08, 16 October 2022 (UTC)
