V8 Supercars

[edit]

"Marcos is still the only driver to have a round win in every V8 Supercar season he has participated in." Simply not true. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.39.222.67 (talk) 05:12, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Apart from David McKay who won his only start in 1960 - who else? --Falcadore (talk) 06:04, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

1st Round Win

[edit]

Didn't Marcos score a round win at Hidden Valley in his first year? Reckon that rates a mention. Cached 07:12, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

2007 Busch Standings

[edit]

Marcos finished 3rd of the non-Cup regulars, behind Jason Leffler (5th) and Bobby Hamilton Jr. (7th) didn't he? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.148.245.249 (talk) 10:12, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Last Section Issue

[edit]

This last section seems like a plug for NASCAR rather than being information about Marcos Ambrose, probably a candidate for removal. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.147.195.158 (talk) 16:17, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like a copy/paste from a press release. Absolutely agree. --Falcadore 12:04, 22 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wording

[edit]

The wording in this article is awfully POV. Please make it sound less like a fan site. --D-Day (talk) 14:39, 18 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How exactly do you mean it is POV? It all seems reasonably neutral to me. TheDukey (talk) 03:34, 19 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fan POV? It seems OK. User:Boss Big 7:28 PM 19 January 2008 —Preceding comment was added at 00:28, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Since D-Day didn't give any examples of non-NPOV, and there seems to be a consensus (including me) that the article is OK as is, I've removed the POV tag. If the nominator still feels the article is non-NPOV, feel free to replace the tag and cite an example or two. Cheers. ++Arx Fortis (talk) 06:03, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Surely the phrasing "and through which he feeds his family", referring to Boris Said and the Mexico race incident, is questionable POV. Why is it relevant as to where and how Said earns his money? I'm no fan of Ambrose, but this phrasing makes it look like the intention is to portray Ambrose as a bad guy. 152.78.64.180 (talk) 17:26, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccurate

[edit]

"and is credited with reviving Ford Racing in Australia, after years of Holden domination" by whom? This statement needs to be removed. 124.184.172.133 (talk) 15:50, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Then remove it. You can. --Falcadore (talk) 13:52, 17 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dates

[edit]

Should the dating convention in the article follow the convention of where he was born (date first), or where he is most notable for (month first)? - The Bushranger One ping only 22:13, 15 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
