Fifth Avenue

[edit]

I'm curious about the Fifth Avenue exception; "divide by 20 and add 45" (or 46, depending on the rounding-rule) appears to give the same answers above 1310, more simply. —Tamfang (talk) 06:15, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And in general, are fractions dropped or rounded? —Tamfang (talk) 19:28, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Last column

[edit]

I think having the unrounded result provides more information about the algorithm even though street numbers are all integers. Per WP:BRD, please discuss here before changing it again. YBG (talk) 00:48, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Labeling the column as you did covered it sufficiently. --SkipperRipper (talk) 01:16, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
