True meaning of the law of the splintered paddle

Splintered paddle, is making a sail on the canoe , using the wind. It can be made as a fish net, a double platform canoe, shade from the sun, sleeping hamper above ground. And using a splint in the middle a person . it can have one motion on left and right the canoe. Not alternate in left or the right side. It’s a art of crafting .
