Out of date tag

[edit]

The House has not yet updated its website listing of its total membership, though the officers has been updated; I've tagged the list here as out-of date until it can be updated. 331dot (talk) 17:15, 7 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Norm Higgins

[edit]

A Portland Press Herald reporter has posted to Facebook that Rep. Higgins is leaving the GOP to be an independent, though a source from the actual media would be better, I think. [1] 331dot (talk) 15:00, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Libertarian party

[edit]

The Libertarian member should be considered to be unenrolled, as the Libertarian Party is not a recognized party in Maine, they lost ballot access in 2018. Pinging Gwf.ford. 331dot (talk) 15:35, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't necessarily matter-- it's a matter of self-identification and there's no reason a legislator can't identify as a member of a party that lacks ballot status. But voters in Maine are currently allowed to register Libertarian, and he did so. http://ballot-access.org/2020/12/14/maine-legislator-john-andrews-joins-libertarian-party/ 108.18.105.63 (talk) 20:49, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I was not aware that registration was still possible; thank you. I'm okay with this, then. 331dot (talk) 20:53, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
