Removed from article per BLP
[edit]I removed the following, uncited sentence per WP:BLP because it's potentially libelous. --Ronz 19:11, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

It doesn't appear that the American Chronical, which is used as a reference [1], is a reliable source given their disclaimer:
The American Chronicle and its affiliates have no responsibility for the views, opinions and information communicated here. The contributor(s) and news providers are fully responsible for this content.
In addition, the views and opinions expressed here are not necessarily those of the American Chronicle or its affiliates.Given this, I've removed the link. --Ronz 16:34, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
Recent statement by father and grandmother
[edit]I think a short mention of this statement about Maia might be appropriate if appropriately sourced. I've searched for possible sources, but didn't find one that met WP:RS and WP:BLP. --Ronz (talk) 23:13, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
- The statement has been published by Essense with a brief introduction: http://www.essence.com/news_entertainment/news/articles/maia_campbell_father_and_grandmother_speak_out/
- There is also a commentary with the disclaimer, "The opinions expressed in this commentary are solely those of Marc Lamont Hill" http://www.essence.com/news_entertainment/news/articles/african_american_indifference_to_black_womens_mental_health/ --Ronz (talk) 00:52, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
Middle name "Chinassa"?
[edit]A lot of people seem to think so, but I can't find a good source for it. --Ronz (talk) 00:30, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
- The statement by her father and grandmother discussed above confirms that her middle initial is "C" at least. --Ronz (talk) 20:54, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
