have / has + Lents 1998

"Magdalene is one of the smaller colleges in Cambridge University, but have often put out some strong crews."

Surely if we are to use "have" in the second part of this sentence, as you have corrected again after I have changed it, it should be "Magdalene are" at the beginning of the sentence? (I could be wrong about this, admittedly)

I removed the sentence about the first VIII from 1998 because I cannot find any reference to it anywhere. Do you have a citation for this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.232.235.9 (talk) 04:19, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
