Is Lazaro Macapagal a descendant of Lakan Dula? His descendants, PGMA is claiming that they are descendants of Lakan Dula. What is their basis? Do they come from the lineage of Daba or Dola? They should show proof first, specially the fact that they seem to turnish the legacy of Lakan Dula because according to the family history written by their grandfather, they helped the Spaniards in fighting the Filipino patriots. The descendants of Lazaro Macapagal should spare the legacy of Lakan Dula by not climing lineage to him, in fairness to the real descendants. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.57.46.195 (talk) 08:30, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
I think the descendants of Lazaro Macapagal should really show a proof on their claim of lineage to Lakan Dula, to protect the legacy of Lakan Dula and his real descendants.Maybe they should show real proof that they descended from Daba or Dola, the known grandchildren of Lakan Dula who were hidden in Pampannga during the Spanish persecutions of native aristocracy. For one, I read somewhere that the Lazaro Macapagal/PGMA family had been cursed with "Sumpa ni Lakan Dula" and they will never have a peace of mind. Recently for instance, Mikey Arroyo was charged of tax evasion, then, latter, PGMA will be charged too with plunder. Its not nice to the real descendants of Lakan Dula to be associated with this kind of people.
Patriots vs. Traitors ? POV?
[edit]Is Salamat's party really called the Patriots and is Macapagal's party really called the Traitors? I am renaming the section to "Native Nobility's response to coming of the Spaniards", but the whole sections needs to be revised for POV. Listmeister (talk) 21:30, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
I discovered a proof that Magat Salamat is a son of Lakan Bunao Dula of Tondo. Here is it http://www.geni.com/family-tree/index/6000000020264789865 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 112.204.139.83 (talk) 08:33, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
