Lu Hao-tungLu Haodong – Unlike his good friend Sun Yat-sen, Lu never studied abroad and thus was unlikely to have had a widely-known Romanized name, therefore pinyin is the choice of naming per WP:NC-ZH#Names of People. A Google Books search also supports pinyin for him in modern usage. Case in point would be Mao Zedong, who AFAIK was widely-known as Mao Tse-tung in the English-speaking world up until his death.
