The result of the move request was: page moved. Falastur2 Talk 21:13, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
Lowland League → Lowland Football League – Would mean it follows the same format of title on Wikipedia of its sister tournament the Highland Football League and that is its official name. VanguardScot 17:52, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
- Source: SFA Source that 'Lowland Football League' is the new leagues name. VanguardScot 17:53, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
- Actually, that source technically says the name is "Scottish Lowland Football League" but I agree. If I can decide whether to include the word "Scottish" or not, I'll move it (or someone else can feel free in the meantime). Falastur2 Talk 19:24, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
- Officially the Highland League is the Scottish Highland Football League too. But I was basing this move request on making both pages use the same title format. I.e. by putting the page at Lowland Football League and in the opening sentence refer to it as:
"The Scottish Lowland Football League (commonly known as the Lowland League)..."
- I don't mind if you move it to Scottish Lowland Football League, but if you do then you should also move the Highland League page. cheers, VanguardScot 20:12, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
- Alright, done. My fault for not doing it when I created the article. I've also created Scottish Lowland Football League, but only as a redirect back to this page. Falastur2 Talk 21:09, 21 June 2013 (UTC)

Apologies for my incorrect reversion earlier, I was working on the basis that each club plays 28 matches rather than, as is actually the case, 26. Duh. -- Walnuts go kapow (talk) 23:12, 20 March 2015 (UTC)
Promotion and relegation
[edit]The text in this article has not (yet) been updated to reflect changes that have been made to relegation from Scottish League Two.
The corresponding section in the article "Scottish League Two" has though been updated.
So the sentence:
"If the League Two club loses the play-off final, they are relegated to the Lowland League if they are south of 56.4513N latitude (middle of the Tay Road Bridge)."
should be altered to something like:
"If the League Two club loses the play-off final, they are relegated to the regional league (ie Lowland League or Highland League) they have chosen prior to the start of the season (previously this depended on whether they were north or south of 56.4513N latitude)."
