Warlords? Liu Biao?

This notion that Liu Du (and the other southern Jing Province Administrators) were "warlords" comes only from the Romance. There is nothing in the SGZ to suggest that they were warlords, and in fact, we know that Jin Xuan was an official in Cao Cao's government before being appointed Administrator of Wuling. As far as we know, they are just officials.

Also, the notion that they all (except Jin Xuan) served under Liu Biao is purely speculation. Never is it stated that they served under Liu Biao. — Preceding unsigned comment added by XHolonX (talk • contribs) 06:10, 29 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
