Peer Review #1

[edit]

Hey man, fantastic start to your article. Read through it a couple of times and I look the organization of all of your sections. I found a couple of awkward phrasings in the History and Criticism parts in particular. I don't have too much knowledge about the Little League World Series so maybe in the header you could write what time of the year the event takes place. In the last sentence of the Pressures section the sentence that starts with "These kids are carrying the pride of the city they are from on their back, and they know that people such as their friends, and family are watching from their home town" seems to be a bit subjective. If you could find a reference for that then it should be okay to put in the article. Also, your seventh and eighth reference seem to be supported by dead links. Reference 10 and 11 also seem to have a problem with them. Again great start, your just a couple of adjustments away from a very informative finished article! So at first look your article looks amazing. I could almost compare it to any major Wikipedia article at this point, which i suppose is the ultimate goal. At second glance you do have some errors in wording and a few grammar mistakes, but over all it is very well done. There is one part at the very beginning of the "Criticism" section that Wikipedia has flagged for you so i would recommend trying to rework that to be within its standard. Hey I see you signed up to edit my article and I was wondering if you could help me with some feedback since I didn't hear from you yet. Looking forward to hearing from you. I added sections and an image to it and really divided it into Latin American development within Comm for Sustainable Social Change. Odolgopo (talk) 14:54, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ambassador review

[edit]

Hey there! Okay, I went through the article and primarily reformatted to improve context and flow. I also rewrote the History section as an example of proper writing and editing. Within this scope, I merged the Commentators section into the History section. I removed some copyright violations made using the information from the Poynter Review Project blog, within the former "supporters" section. At this point, the article needs a lot of copy writing and editing. There is quite a bit of content that is not supported through reliable and independent sources. Once this is done, the lead section needs to be expanded to fully introduce the subject, establish notability, and summarize the article content. Then we'll need to work on providing internal links ("wikilinks") to other articles on Wikipedia. For the most part, I just worked on getting you going in the right direction. Let me know if you have any questions. Best regards, Cind.amuse (Cindy) 04:22, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
