Suggestions

[edit]

The table needs some contributions. My suggestions are as follows:

  • 1521.The name of the rebel was Canberdi Gazali. End of the rebellion: Mastabe battle. Death of Canberdi: 6 Feb. 1521
  • 1523-1524: Name of the rebel (sultan of Egypt) was Ahmet Pasha (nick named Hain, meaning traitor) This rebellion was actually in 1524. In 1523,there was a smaller scale rebellion by others.
  • 1526-1528:Not in Eastern Anatolia; mostly in South and Central Anatolia. Names of the rebels: Baba Zinnun (1525) and Kalender Çelebi (1528) (for more information see Jelali revolts)
  • 1555:Nick name of Mustafa :Düzme (meaning false)
  • 1558:The name of the city was Konya in Ottoman times and Iconium in Byzantine times. That is the first time I see the name Konish.
  • And also:The revolt in Delvine in 1537 can also be be added to the list.

Well, this article is stub, and there are lost of other thing (among your remarks) that will have to be added/expanded. Feel free to add more, but we will have to have inline citations for added material. This is just a start based on some references. I realise that the city was Konya, but in reference it's Konish, so that is way I have put also Konish in brackets. Anyway my intention is to have this article as a list of major revolts during Suleiman's reign, not minor revolts. So, if you know of another major revolt during Suleiman's reign, please let me know (like the revolt in Delvine which you have mentioned above - was it a major revolt that could threaten the Ottoman Empire, or a smaller one)? --Kebeta (talk) 08:39, 21 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
