Please note that the person using the username "Bezza84" first persisted in creating this page called "List of people who have walked across Australia". The page lacks proper citations and contains possible libellous comments about living people. Since he was stopped in his tracks, he has now begun another page: "List of people who have run across Australia". Both of these pages are nonsense, both lack proper citations and contain potentially libellous content about living people. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 135.196.122.103 (talk) 21:13, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

The title of this article is "List of people who have walked across Australia". You cannot include runners in this category. Does this really need explaining? Walking is walking and running is running. That is a matter of fact. Why does this article even exist, it is not worthy of an entry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 135.196.122.103 (talk) 10:16, 14 May 2011 (UTC)

Deletion challenge

This page should not be deleted, because these people have achieved a significant accomplishment and raised money for charity. A similar article also exists on Wikipedia for People who have crossed North America (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_people_who_have_walked_across_the_United_States) Bezza84 (talk) 04:44, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Bezza84Bezza84 (talk) 04:44, 19 March 2011 (UTC)

As a general rule, other stuff exists is not an accepted reason for inclusion. However, after reviewing the list that you provided and skimming through the AfD that happened on its behalf, I can allow that - perhaps - lists such as this could be allowable. I would suggest that you reference the article well and give some better statements in regard to notability. I would also suggest moving this to List of people who have walked across Australia, as that would be a more accurate representation of what this "article" really is. Word wrapping TOC

Hello. If anyone knows how to word-wrap the Table of Contents, I would appreciate your assistance. I'm trying to read up on it, but it's not the easiest trick in the bag. Cheers. Bezza84 (talk) 15:11, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
