The result of the move request was: Moved. There's consensus for move to the new titles with capitlization (non-admin closure) –Ammarpad (talk) 05:57, 9 November 2018 (UTC)
List of heads of state of Angola → List of Presidents of Angola – All the officeholders in the list were Presidents. Sundostund (talk) 02:07, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
- This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:02, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
- @Sundostund: Or to List of presidents of Angola?
- And also:-
- List of heads of state of Mozambique → List of Presidents of Mozambique or List of presidents of Mozambique ?
- List of heads of government of Mozambique → List of Prime Ministers of Mozambique or List of prime ministers of Mozambique ?
- @Anthony Appleyard: I understand your dilemma, but I have no desire to involve myself into another discussion about capitalization (I have had my share of them both recently and not so recently)... Long story short – if we can have List of Presidents of the United States and List of Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom on English Wikipedia, I think that we can have List of Presidents of Angola, List of Presidents of Mozambique and List of Prime Ministers of Mozambique as well. --Sundostund (talk) 05:13, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
- Lowercase, please per MOS:JOBTITLES. Although there has been some resistance when applied to a few articles, the plural is obviously not a proper noun usage and should be in lowercase. MOS:JOBTITLES seems clear about this, and Wikipedia should follow its own guidelines. —BarrelProof (talk) 18:26, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
- I agree the titles should use lowercase. The fact that other articles exist that break the normal article title conventions does not mean we should break it here. Rreagan007 (talk) 01:07, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support moving to new titles. My personal preference is to capitalize, but I do recognize that there's no consistency in that area among lists articles for heads of states & government. GoodDay (talk) 01:44, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support - sure, move it. But capitalized. This lowercase nonsense it getting carried away. - wolf 03:12, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support - Will make it consistent with other lists and should be capitalized. It is a title and also a Wikipedia Article is a proper noun. -Qballer82 (talk) 03:32, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support move - Per Nom. As for the “Presidents/presidents” question... I lean towards capitalizing, but I know that there are those who disagree. I don’t think there is a clear (project wide) consensus on that question. So... we should not allow it to delay the move. We can always revisit capitalization issue later. Blueboar (talk) 11:40, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support but capitalize We do not have "List of prime ministers of Japan" or the like - where a specific title is used, then capitalization is standard on Wikipedia. "head of state" is not a "title" and would not be capitalized. Collect (talk) 12:43, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support. Makes sense, consistent with other similar articles. --Coemgenus (talk) 14:04, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support per nom עם ישראל חי (talk) 15:55, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support per nom. Number 57 22:29, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support can see no need for inconsistency with other pages. --Iztwoz (talk) 05:53, 6 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support move with capitalisation, per other article titles in Category:Lists of national presidents. The titles of List of presidents of Finland and List of Zambian presidents and their deputies also need attention. Ham II (talk) 08:58, 6 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support, with upper-casing per above. Randy Kryn (talk) 11:51, 6 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support per nom. –Davey2010Talk 01:18, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose without lower-case "presidents". WCCasey (talk) 22:08, 7 November 2018 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: Speedy self-close as uncontroversial technical moves. Based on the rapid feedback, this is a clearly decided matter. (non-admin closure) —BarrelProof (talk) 08:24, 6 August 2019 (UTC)
- List of Presidents of Angola → List of presidents of Angola
- List of Emperors of Ethiopia → List of emperors of Ethiopia
- List of Presidents of Bangladesh → List of presidents of Bangladesh
– Lowercase plural for lists of people who held a particular position, per MOS:JOBTITLES and the recent multi-article RMs at Talk:List of presidents of the United States and Talk:List of presidents of Costa Rica, and the 16 other RMs in the last two years that were identified in that discussion. Perhaps these could be treated as uncontroversial "technical moves", given the outcome of those two most recent RMs, but the question has been somewhat controversial, and the titles of these articles have been the subject of previous RMs. —BarrelProof (talk) 20:01, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
- Support per nom and guideline. The title words "presidents" and "emperors" are descriptions, not proper nouns. Paine Ellsworth, ed. put'r there 23:11, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
- Support and speedy close. At this point, given the broad consensus that seems to have been reached with the recent discussion at List of presidents of the United States, this should probably just be a technical request. Rreagan007 (talk) 00:05, 6 August 2019 (UTC)
- Speedy close and Support – Just do it. Repeatedly discussing the same well-settled question is pointless. Dicklyon (talk) 05:36, 6 August 2019 (UTC)
