Why does the Page "Assets owned by Trump Org" lead to "Things named after D. Trump" ?
[edit]See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_assets_owned_by_the_Trump_Organization
These are completely different subjects and it is important to differentiate. Just because something is called after Trump, it does not mean it is owned by his Trump Org. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.227.43.107 (talk) 01:41, 13 February 2018 (UTC)
Named after Donald Trump, or the Trump Family?
[edit]How do we know that these are named after Donald Trump, and not the Trump family as a whole? Solntsa90 (talk) 01:57, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
- Proper references. B E C K Y S A Y L E S 12:17, 27 June 2016 (UTC)
- I was wondering the same, proper references is the answer. I imagine there are things named after Fred, but I don't know. 2601:199:880:14C5:2444:506:D06D:D431 (talk) 22:44, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
- Full concur, these are NOT "named for Donald Trump" in the sense of a monument, etc. but are just the corporate name applied to properties in which The Trump Organization invests, etc (various levels of involvement). Otherwise we need a page that lists the thousands of things named after John Willard Marriott, and so on. It is fine to have this listing, but it needs to be renamed. Trump Footlong
[edit]I think the photo should not be in this article, but the entry should. The photo is a bit much. It makes a political statement in that it attacks Trump. Ping User:Victorgrigas and User:Scottrainey. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 01:52, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
- There are other photos of the food on the menu? Would that work?
- or just the food itself?
- 19:57, 13 August 2016 Victorgrigas
- I think either of those would be an improvement, although the whole thing is a bit of a shot against him. Maybe that section should have a Trump Water pic instead. We have a pic of that. Then again, any pic probably promotes or disparages. Maybe no pic. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 02:06, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
- I like the pic of the sandwich, if there are reasonable sources to couch it as non-OR, fine. I think there should be a "satire" section, though, so it isn't confused with a quality product from Trump like Trump Water or Trump Steaks. tedder (talk) 20:01, 14 August 2016 (UTC)

The Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point Park is NOT owned by Trump. That's a CITY-OWNED park. Trump's people just MANAGE it, for now. See https://www.nycgovparks.org/facilities/golf Netizen James (talk) 17:22, 13 March 2019 (UTC)
- Not done: Netizen James, This is an article for things named after him. It does not matter weather he owns it. WelpThatWorked (talk) 22:17, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
