Moving this page to "List of Australian rules footballers of Aboriginal descent".
The previous name is too ambiguous - indigenous to where? Also not all the footballers on the list are "fully" Aboriginal - some are only one-sixteenth, or less. Laboulaye (talk) 09:29, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Torres Strait Islanders are Indigenous Australians but are not Aboriginal. This is proven by their mitochondrial DNA. Wokepedian (talk) 00:30, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
