I have included this here, as I'm not sure if it can go in the main episode list page, or in a seperate page, or not at all. It was useful information to me, so I compiled it. Whilst it is in the talk page, the use of the images might not be fair use - but will be once it is put somewhere more approriate. --Orbling 15:51, 12 December 2006 (UTC) [ reply ]

I believe that there is a massive episode-order error within episodes of Series 5, 6 & 8 (the 39 10-minute episodes after Series 2, 3 & 4); as stated in the main article, it states that some episodes were not transmitted until years later as part of a repeats session. However, I have discovered that there would've been four series with 13 episodes each as each of the three series have altered closing titles to their episodes. Series 5 is more or less the same but is missing three episodes that were assumingly recorded for the fifth series. The series list (according to copyright recording and credits) should be as follows, regardless of – yet largely/partly involving the importance of – its transmission date; also with corresponding position on the FremantleMedia UK 12-DVD Boxset - as the boxset is predominantly not in broadcast order:

Why does season 9 span over a year and run straight into season 10? The first two episodes were shown in January 1991 and the next was almost a year later (short by two days). It would seem to make more sense if season 9 was only two episodes and season 10 was 11 episodes long. It is already pretty much agreed that the seasons as shown don't match the production order anyway with some episodes being shown in different years. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Danielklein (talk • contribs ) 07:36, 22 October 2016 (UTC) [ reply ]
It would make sense that way, but I haven't found sources that state that - Netflix US has them separated like we do here (perhaps not the best source?) there's no info on the US DVD box set (which groups series 7-10 as just "The Final Seasons") - Have you found any sources stating a two episode Series 9?
