Simon Johnson., Daron Acemoglu, and James Robinson, the 2024 Nobel Prize winners for Economics, should all be listed under the US in addition to the countries of their birth, for the following reasons: their work leading to the prize was done at US universities, most of their careers were at US universities and virtually all their major accomplishments occurred while they were at those universities, and living in the US. All 3 have spent most of their lives in the US and are citizens or permanent residents.
