Suggestions
[edit]This is an excellent start on the article. I have a few comments that struck me as I read it:
- The phrase "collapse generation" is used in Controlling liquid ventilator. I'm guessing that this what is described in the last paragraph of Driving liquid – if so, it would be better to state that explicitly in that last paragraph.
- I'm unaware of any mechanism where saturating a liquid with O2 and air actually removes CO2. I know that it can be removed by allowing it to diffuse into another CO2-free fluid or by chemical scrubbing. Perhaps the article needs to clarify how the CO2 is removed and the O2 content topped up – two separate considerations, even if performed at the same stage.
- The diagram shows a 'filter', but doesn't specify what (or how) it filters. I'm guessing that it's a particulate filter and finds use in the application Therapeutic lung lavage. Has it other functions? That's an area that the article potentially could cover.
Hope that helps. --RexxS (talk) 23:21, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
