Untitled
[edit]According to IBDB--the Broadway data base--she had a role in a play, The Dragon's Claw, when she was 6-1/2. Perhaps she came over from London just for the part--it only lasted 8 performances--but the flop soured her family and they took her home. In London she did the Panto and Piccadilly Revels, then at twenty returned to Broadway where she was in Earl Carroll's Vanities (1928). The next year she was in Fioretta and Stepping Out on Broadway and also in Hollywood beginning in the movies with No More Children and Sagebrush Politics[1].
