Unfortunately, with the evaporation of basic manufacturing in the US, there are not many old machinists left.

Dido, plus he is the founder of a publicly traded company ticker SCX so he is definitely note worthy. I came to this page while do additional research/due diligence as I am considering investing Starrett. And thus I believe this page is "note worthy".
