Article in Akron Beacon Journal
[edit]Not sure if this article was used as a source for Lisa Abraham's excellent article about Lawson's in today's Akron Beacon Journal, but it's an interesting read nonetheless. Well done, Lisa! -- JeffBillman (talk) 23:53, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
Daiei's slide
[edit]I do not know what this means, assuming that Daiei went out of business or was about to go out of business, can this sentence be modified to say "...Mitsubishi took over as major shareholder as Daiei exited the business/began to sell assets/prepared for insolvency" Mstefaniak (talk) 17:22, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

Second or third?
[edit]This page states that - "Lawson is one of the top convenience store chains in Japan, second to convenience franchise giant 7-Eleven and ahead of FamilyMart."
The page for FamilyMart however states that - "It is Japan's second largest convenience store chain, behind Seven-Eleven Japan."
If not in terms of size, what is Lawsons second place claim based on?2A02:C7C:5F61:5000:A496:1BDF:B9FE:FD7B (talk) 13:08, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
