Notability
[edit]Lakota is a notable club not only for its royal visit but also its architecture and the publicity its planned demolition is generating. Pretty sure it was also at the fore of the Bristol drum&bass scene back in the day - currently finding references from the 80s, but tricky online. LHMike (talk) 00:44, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
"Bristol has always attracted many clubbers from outside the city, eager to come to places like Lakota, once deemed in the early nineties as one of the most famous clubs in the country outside London"
Added selection of above quote, taken from a university publication. LHMike (talk) 00:59, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
- OK, I have changed from the speedy deletion template to proposed deletion template. That should give time to expand the article and provide further references that you have indicated. Good luck. WWGB (talk) 01:10, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
