Elevation
[edit]The article rightly states that "Lakes Entrance.....lies almost at sea level". The Infobox tells us it's 43 metres above sea level. That's not "almost at sea level", nor would it be the elevation of any part of the town. What's the story? HiLo48 (talk) 02:18, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
- Following the convention that a town's elevation is measured at its post office, I am changing the article to say 2 metres. (From Google Earth) HiLo48 (talk) 01:07, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Notable people
[edit]I have removed two entries that appear to be non-notable (added April 2022 and 2020, both IP added); the remaining two seem dubious to me. They should have blue links for their names.
Looking briefly at the history, there have been other deletions, mostly unsourced and vandalism. I think the entire headed-section should be removed, to discourage further trivial entries. Comments?--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 18:30, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
