Did a quick edit to correct what i believed was just a innocent case of poor english. Changed from gay rights in denmark are good TO Gay rights in denmark has come very far

Is this the place for a guide to nightlife?

[edit]

"Gay life in the country" is relevant in what way to the heading of "Gay rights in Denmark"? chochem 15:13, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

With no justifications, I have taken the liberty of removing the section. If you think it's worth having, make a separate article. It has got nothing to do with rights. chochem 14:27, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Marriage

[edit]

When will same-sex marriage be provided in Denmark? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.217.98.170 (talk) 06:20, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ANSWER(not a yell:) ): there are not any plans at the moment (as far as I know) in the danish folketing to grant that or put it on the table for diskussion. but that can ofcourse change rapidly. - luise —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.167.173.177 (talk) 17:12, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Formal decision in Danish Parliament for LGBT adoption rights

All gay info and nothing trans

[edit]

Does anyone know anything about trans rights and gender identity protections in Denmark? Do the hate crimes laws protect gender identity as well, and are trans people allowed in the military?

I'll try researching it myself, just checking if anyone is already knowledgeable about this. Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.161.162.118 (talk) 14:58, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal

[edit]
The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
The result of this discussion was Merge. Uffda608 (talk) 16:39, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I propose merging LGBT history in Denmark into LGBT rights in Denmark. Most of the events listed on the history article are explained in further depth on the rights page. I think it would make sense to add the list to this article and put these events in greater context. Uffda608 (talk) 09:34, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Merge. I definitely think there could be a separate history article, but right now the History article is only a timeline that could definitely be made a section of this article. AlexandraAVX (talk) 16:59, 15 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Merge I am largely in agreement that the timeline is short and could be utilized to make both articles better through a merge. I would also endorse expanding the history article if a Wikipedian were to find enough research to build it. Jorahm (talk) 17:07, 17 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
