There is no information on transgender individuals in this article at all.

So it should probably be renamed "lgb people in brazil" unless that information can be supplied. Until then, this article has a misleading title. 184.177.1.75 (talk) 06:06, 30 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm very sad to see this is still the case over four years later. The article consistently says "LGBT", but the T is still left out. 50.199.243.61 (talk) 16:30, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Most of the links are non-functioning, and I am having difficulty confirming the core information. Given that the general number of Bi/Gay/Les people mentioned is higher than any study I have ever come across (the maximum I have seen was 8%; in the US, according to a 2012 demographic article by Gates that accounted for several studies, was 3.8%), this information seems very spurious at best, especially the claim that 1/5 of Rio de Janeiro's population is bisexual or gay men. While possible for a district, suggesting that roughly 40% of men across Rio de Janeiro, or any city, are bi/gay is just grossly implausible. Jrdholzhauser (talk) 17:55, 11 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Very true that's why sampling is very dubious. Gay men all over the world are between 1.5 to 3% with Transgender people less than 0.1% Nlivataye (talk) 12:07, 15 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
