@EdJohnston: To comply with Wikipedia standards of article naming (see Wikipedia:Article titles) the spelling Quitaraju is used as it is commonly found in maps and literature about the mountain, being Kitaraju a less used spelling. Kitarahu is a spelling proposed by one of the page editors, based on Quechua dictionaries, but with no sources corresponding to its use for the mountain.
