Spelling
[edit]I have just reverted a good faith edit that changed the spelling by adding a possessive apostrophe. I did this simply because the reason given was that is how local signage spells it. Local signage is unreliable. There are many more examples of the alternative spelling on maps, documents and other reference sources. I could quote a nearby street that has its name spelled differently on signage at either end. Logically it should have an apostrophe, but logic and names do not always fit neatly together. - Well done. Reliable sources trump any other sources, hence your action was the right one. Schwede66 06:45, 26 October 2017 (UTC)
Irrelevant Sources
[edit]I have just removed pretty much all the references from the first part of the page because none of them were at all relevant. For example the journal articles "Penny Ur's 77 Tips for Teaching Vocabulary", "Reproducing gender inequalities? A critique of realist assumptions underpinning personnel selection research and practice", and "Patients With Genital Warts Have a Decreased Quality of Life" do not appear to have anything to do with Kennedy's Bush.
I will come back through the article and add verified inline citations to the Gordon Ogilvie book which seems to be the main historical work on this area. Cloventt (talk) 20:17, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks. My guess is that these were a form of advertising or backlinks for a website. —Panamitsu (talk) 20:33, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
