Qelutviaq (true) or Kelutviaq (false)
[edit]The true name for Kelutviaq is Qelutviaq. The qelutviaq «stringed musical instrument, such as guitar, banjo, or harp» < Central Alaskan Yup'ik qelutviar- «to cough hollowly» (Source: Yup'ik Eskimo Dictionary, 2nd edition, Jacobson, Steven A. (compiler), Alaska Native Language Center, 2012). The name for violin (Agiarut by Inuit Eskimos) by Yupik Eskimos is kegglaq («violin» in HBC Cup’ik dialect and «saw» in the other Central Alaskan Yup'ik dialects < kegglar- «to saw») --Kmoksy (talk) 21:49, 26 September 2013 (UTC)
