Justin Smith (Australian actor) → Justin Smith (actor) – There are no other actors named Justin Smith. Christiancardenas732 (talk) 16:39, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- Support we previously had an article for an American actor by the same name but it was deleted last December.--65.93.194.2 (talk) 22:24, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose As 65.93.194.2 points out, there is an American actor named Justin Smith, born in Florida, USA, on April 8, 1980, thus approximately the same age. See here, for example. There does seem to be some confusion between the two. (noted in Afd above) Neither one has significant coverage. However, there was another American actor named Justin Smith who was quite notable. Justin Smith, 1932-1985, was an actor, acting coach, and prominent figure in the gay rights movement in Los Angeles in the late 1970s. See, e.g. the brief entry here. Paper-based sources will be necessary for his biographical article. --Bejnar (talk) 01:41, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nomination and 65.93.194.2. Main title headers are not preemptively disambiguated in anticipation of other entries. If entries for other actors named Justin Smith are created or recreated, the qualifier for this main header can be enhanced. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 23:53, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- Support if there was a consensus to delete the other then the additional info isn't needed per WP:PRECISION. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:22, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
- Support. We only have one article on an actor with this name. Keep the current title as a redirect, tagged {{R from unnecessary disambiguation}}. Narky Blert (talk) 14:55, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
