Innovation claims

It's not quite clear from the article what is or was innovative in these refrigerated trains, apart from their size. Nowadays, refrigerated containers and rail/road/ship refrigerated transport are extremely common. A quick search on the website of one of the biggest worldwide operators finds [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] for instance.
