The main source used for this article, Whitson, Rolland Lewis, ed. (1914). Centennial History of Grant County, Indiana, 1812 to 1912. Vol. II. New York: Lewis Publishing Company. p. 675, is entirely unreliable. It is riddled with errors that confuse him with his son, also named John Milton Wallace (1853-1926). Thanks for the warning on the source. The main facts of the article are supported by other sources. If I removed everything that couldn't be supported by other sources, it would mostly be family info. The article is not even a day old; perhaps give it some time before deleting it.
