WP:MILHIST Assessment
[edit]Thank you for a long, detailed, and largely well-written article on an interesting figure. It's rare to see such a quality article for a soldier who didn't fight in the Civil War, either World War, or another equivalently major conflict. I would suggest that you do a quick once-over of the grammar and style (I think I caught a glance of at least once instance of "MajGen" instead of "Maj. Gen."), and then nominate it for A-class status (or Good Article status, which is a separate process) over at WP:MILHIST. Good luck! LordAmeth 21:54, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
