The Dearie Family
[edit]My great great grandfather was Richard Dearie who emigrated to USA in the nineteenth century and settled in Wilkes Barre Pennsylvania where he ran a bar selling possibly illicit alcohol as he was escaping the law in the UK having been born in Scotland. I just wonder whether Judge Raymond Dearie and his cousin John C Dearie are any relation to my great great grandfather. I am aged 84 so about the same generation as Raymond and John Dearie. I possess a wonderful portrait of Richard Dearie' daughter who was my great grand mother. I would be very interested to learn if there is a family connection. regards Martin McNeill Richmond Surrey England. 2A00:23C7:F822:1A01:DC8C:5696:3554:ED38 (talk) 15:53, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
