Details of story of Godspell origin seem wrong

I'm consulting a source on the story, and it seems to contradict several points as presented. Source is here.

Key points of difference:

Church was the Anglican cathedral, not St. Paul's
No mention of encounter with police, just mention of general disappointment in how the clergy and lay people were participating in the experience
