Plagiarism

[edit]

According to http://nutsandbolts.washcoll.edu/plagiarism.html, he used a single footnote to cite five full pages of an article, which is inadequate by any academic standard. This sentence in the article, "Biden initially received an “F” in an introductory class on legal methodology for writing a paper relying almost exclusively on a single Fordham Law Review article, which he had cited.", implies that he cited it correctly and was only punished for using a single source. That seems dishonest to me, but perhaps someone could clarify this before I make any changes. Lindentree 19:15, 28 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have changed the article to reflect that the law review article was cited only once. Wasted Time R (talk) 01:23, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Coal Mines and Football

[edit]

This article leaves out the fact that Biden bizarrely claimed his family had worked in the coal mines, and then come up and played football at the end of long days of work. Apparently true of Kinnock's life, it was not of Biden's: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Rkoqglq9dUArnold Rothstein1921 (talk) 04:26, 30 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Any verification on that campaign logo in the infobox? VintageVernacular (talk) 05:19, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind, answering my own question: it can be seen in a photo here, among some other campaign photos. Seems to be a faithful recreation, and I've added a link to that FT article on the WikiCommons file so it's verifiable. VintageVernacular (talk) 05:25, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
