Jim Gordon was not fired from his job with the NY Giants

I would like to clarify/correct the info in Wikipedia. Jim Gordon was not fired from his job with the NY Giants. His contract with them was up, and it was a mutual decision on both parts, not to renew the contract, due to personal reasons. He retired on good terms and remained a very important part of the Giant family until his passing.
