[edit]I deleted the information about Bob Chapel because I thought it was irrelevant to the article. Meekrob, please don't accuse me of biased editing when you know nothing about me or my motivations.
IMHO, the article needs to be expanded with more information about the actual conflict. The links to the other two pages are nice, but it would be better if the Wikipedia article incorporated the information they do.
I think attributing the name "Jaybird-Woodpecker" to Bob Chapel is a minor point. "Trivia", if you will. I think it belongs in an article about Bob Chapel himself. To be honest, I also considered removing the label "half-crazy" as I don't think that helps to add to the article either. Lunch 18:35, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
I s'pose I'll add that I think the article linked to at the University of Texas is a good model. The article from Enchanted Rock magazine is well-written and informative, but I think it has a more "folksy" feel to it and doesn't seem fitting to an encyclopedia article. The tidbit about Bob Chapel, I think, falls in that category.Lunch 18:47, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
